Job description

You will be responsible for software development for a unique high performance computer architecture. Possible work areas include Applications Software for Big Data Analytics, Library Development, and Operating System / Driver Development. You will be working with a team of the foremost computer architects in the industry, and contributing to pushing the forefront of computing.

Duties include

  • Parallel Programming in Cilk and C
  • Developing new data-centric applications and libraries
  • Testing and verifying correctness of system and application software

Operating System / Driver Engineer (NYC)

Job description

You will be responsible for Porting of the Linux Kernel to a unique high performance computer architecture, and for developing the drivers and support software needed to deliver optimum performance and an outstanding user experience.

Duties include:

  • Developing specifications for system software
  • Porting and testing Linux environment
  • Development of specialized drivers
  • Supervision of junior software engineers
  • Interacting with hardware development team and key customers

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience
  • A good understanding of operating systems and parallel processing

Duties include

  • Logic design using Verilog / System Verilog
  • FPGA implementation and testing
  • Schematic design using Orcad

What We’re Looking For:

  • BSEE or MSEE from an acreditied institution
  • Relevant industry or academic experience
  • A good understanding of computer architecture
  • A track record of solving problems and getting things done
  • Experience writing Verilog or other HDL
  • Experience using a schematic capture CAD tool
  • Experience programming in C or similar languages

You will be responsible for design of the packaging, liquid cooling, and power distribution for a unique high performance computer system. You will be working with a team of the foremost computer architects in the industry, and contributing to pushing the forefront of computing.

Duties include

  • Mechanical drawing and 3D CAD models
  • Thermal design and analysis using SolidWorks CAD system
  • Schematic design using Orcad
  • Interfacing with electrical and manufacturing engineering teams and Contract Manufacturer

What We’re Looking For:

  • BSME or MSME degree from an acreditied institution
  • Relevant industry or academic experience
  • A good understanding of computer architecture
  • A track record of solving problems and getting things done
  • CSWA – Academic certification
  • Experience using a schematic capture CAD tool
  • Experience programming in C or similar languages
  • A creative individual who is excited about pushing the envelope of computing, and Big Data in particular
